December Words
Push
My eyes are shut and I see the shapes.
The strength and colours that build my frame.
I squat right down and I touch the bar.
Feel the might rushing through my arms.
Tingles open, closing paths and doors.
Building work sets off hungry alarms.
Winter is half way and I am determined.
I've said that before but this is different.
Spring brings blooms of flowers and fruits.
Building and preparing and getting through.
I hope Spring will see me also shoot.
These soft lilacs fill the soul, brain and room.
Lavender dreams helping to relax and soothe.
A hot spring dream, filtering through.
With every push, sip, swallow and move.
No more fake smiles I begin to push.
In other news...
I have lots of things to upload and will be doing so between Christmas and Hogmanay! I hope you enjoy a wee sneak! Many more Miss Kitty Lavender dolls! And some of you may have seen on instagram, I have been sewing some Lavender bees, stuffed with organic lavender like my kittens. These wee bees are my new sewing addiction so expect more! I acquired a bag of vintage lace and so have lots of beautiful wee bits to make wings out of. I have also been making some hair flowers in different styles and Oh! Of course these adorable wee vintage brooches will be uploaded shortly too, enjoy! =^..^=

So beautiful, all of it!! The Scottish winter landscape & your hair both look enchanting! That ruined castle (?) is such a magical sight.
ReplyDeleteIf the giveaway is open to international readers, I'd love to enter. My preference would be lavender kitty, cardi, robot. Mmm, lavender is such a sweet, soothing scent! It's currently usurping rose as my favorite scent; I received some Yardley Lavender perfume as an early xmas gift, and I'm smitten.
It is indeed open to all! :) Thanks so much sweetpea! :) Hope you had and continue to have a magical time! :) x
DeleteGreat pictures, you look amazing in your corset!

ReplyDeleteHow very sweet of you to offer a giveaway - thank you! If it is open to those from far flung corners of the world, this Canadian lass would be very open to any of these splendidly lovely prizes (I especially ♥ the darling cardigan).
From the bottom of my heart, I wish you a joyful, amazing holiday season!
