Lavendar Dreams and Travels

Despite nothing but rain and no sunshine July started well.  I was printing, doing yoga every day, making amazing food, gaining much needed lbs, sewing, enjoying a good routine... and then my wisdom tooth came for a pain party.  This last week or so has been very painful and very disrupted!  

I need to get another day of printing before I can upload any prints for sale and feel like I have achieved anything in that area!  I love printing with my wee frame!  What I have started to upload in my wee shop are some old cabinet photos, handmade glass glitter star crowns, hair bows and these lavender kittens!  These kittens are inspired by my lovely mither who has always made wee lavender guys for gifts, she is rad.
 
Introducing Miss Kitty Lavender, The Circus Girl!
Put her in your chest of drawers, suitcase, under your pillow or let her do aerobatic dances in your wardrobe!  Miss Kitty Lavender is a character I have been sewing for a few months.  I make her out of vintage, handmade and organic materials.  Each is stuffed with organic lavender and made by hand.  I have numbered each one as they are all individual and I have decided to make more, lots of wee circus girls!  I will be adding them one by one starting this Monday, July the 23rd!

    1. Hahaha It took a gazillion takes because I am so shy I got stage fright in-front of the camera and was playing one note then bursting out laughing... for ages...

Oohh Lavender is such a calming scent, my Mum and I always make little lavender hearts to hang in our wardrobes. They are nothiing compared to your amazing Kitties though.
