A wee escape to the hut...

Some recent pictures from my wee world... (click to enlarge)

Thank you for sweet words!  I have recovered a wee bit from my ordeal.  I get down about the people and animals worse off than me (I'm no rich in the slightest, i mean being murdered and the world getting destroyed by man...heavy now...) but things have been tough in my wee world, but as I quoted last time, Bob Dylan's granny saying that everyone is going through hard things and I do appreciate that!  And I don't wish to linger in the gutter of my mind, I want to climb to great heights!  I can not help others if I am not strong and healthy in body and mind!  So my mission is to become superhuman! My wee mither took me away to have some nice recovery time by the sea at her friend's 'hut', she was staying there with her/our cat friend.  I try and not be a jealous person but I wish I lived by the sea!  A council estate is so grey and lifeless in comparison!  One day!  Anyhoo, Just two days saw stormy weather to glorious sunshine!  Of course, continuously freezing!  Scotland in October!  I read (Oh Sweet John Muir!), I took some pictures, bird watched, ate mama's cooking, spied at life in rock pools, played with the cat, and I wrote a little spraff...

The houses, fields, woods and steeples of the  coastline across the sea whispered between a layer of misty white.  The spray of the waves, crashing forwards, a mass of bright jagged arms racing with each gust of wind in the bitterly cold dark dreary blue.  Before long my tiny cold hands were wet from the spray crashing against the rocks, where i sat on my side of the water, and I could no longer hold onto the binoculars for fear of each finger snapping off from the baltic weather of my homeland. Hard to see the birds in such unforgiving winds, my long hair blinding me, single threads being twisted together and hurled around, constantly thrust stingingly into my eyes and gagingly into my mouth!  I curse my morning self for not tying Braids! The odd wader brave to bear the sea's wicked temper, blowing around like a sma wee feather!  I gaze at the rock with it's glittering of birds surround, the lighthouse and glistening white, holding onto my hat.  The pools I sit by hide worlds of sma.  I spy a wee hermit, fish, crab and sea anenomie in seaweeds tangled and caught on the barnacles and harsh rough but smooth battered surface.  The sma water forests so alien, black spider trees and deepest hearts maroon and green lasagna slithers shadow other creatures and wee skeletons.  A walk up across the moving sweeping sands, like spirits whirling towards the house. In for some tea and freshly baked scones and for the night's fire, lay out to dry our collection of twigs and wee logs.

Enjoy your weekend! x

I love the sea & in the future hope on moving a little closer to it so that I can visit it from time to time.
My favorite childhood memories is going on trips to the ocean and playing with crabs and clams and all that other fun stuff.
